Speech therapy prevention for the natural development of pre-school children

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of (not) using the offer of speech therapy prevention by parents of children with impaired communication skills. The theoretical part defines basic concepts such as speech therapy, speech therapy, impaired communication ability, speech development (risks that may manifest in speech development) and articulation. It relies on available professional sources in the field of speech therapy. The practical part is carried out using the method of qualitative research and contains semi-structured interviews with parents. The main goal is to find out the answer to the research question: "How active is the interest on the part of parents and what is the main reason for parents to seek professional help?" Specifically, it is a research in a kindergarten in South Bohemia.
Speech therapy prevention and musical activities for children with delayed school attendance

The bachelor thesis deals with the association between speech therapy prevention and music activities in preschool education. The aim of the thesis is to discover whether the means of music education can improve the language and speech of children with delayed school attendance. The theoretical part describes the issue of delayed school attendance. It deals with reduced communication skills and its categories, different mother tongue and bilingual family environment, since the subject of the research are children from these settings. The development of speech in the language layers is discussed, too. This part also deals with speech therapy prevention in kindergarten and its connection with musical activities. The practical part is devoted to action research, which includes an initial diagnosis of children with delayed school attendance, describes the course of the research and evaluates the impact of musical activities in speech therapy prevention on the language and speech of children with delayed school attendance. The practical part also includes a questionnaire survey that provides data on the course of speech therapy prevention in kindergartens. Use of Montessori pedagogy in speech therapy prevention in preschool children

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Montessori pedagogy and its use in speech therapy prevention in preschool children. The main goal of this thesis is the analysis of methods used in Montessori pedagogy in providing speech therapy prevention in Montessori kindergartens. The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters. The first two chapters describe the theoretical basis on which the work is based. Based on the professional literature, the chapters define both selected topics. The first theoretical part deals with the theoretical basis of speech therapy. The content includes information about communication, about the development of speech and language, about the areas that influence this development and finally about speech therapy prevention. The second part describes another area that the work deals with, and therefore Montessori pedagogy, its principles, origin and current form in the Czech Republic and in the world. The third chapter consists of an empirical part, which deals with the research itself. Qualitative research methods were chosen for the research survey. Speech therapy prevention in kindergartens in the Klatovy region

The subject of this bachelor's thesis, which deals with one of the sub-fields of special pedagogy - speech therapy - is the provision of speech therapy prevention in kindergartens in the district of Klatovy. The aim of the work is to examine the provision of this prevention in the Klatovy region. The paper is divided into three chapters, while the first two define the theoretical basis of the thesis. With the help of professional literature, the topics of communication, speech therapy intervention with an emphasis on speech therapy prevention, speech development, preschool age or the most frequent types of impaired communication skills occurring in preschool age are defined. The empirical part analyses the data of a qualitative research survey conducted in the form of interviews with teachers in kindergartens. The work explores the course of speech therapy prevention, the cooperation of kindergartens with professional external institutions regarding speech therapy prevention, the tools used as well as the pitfalls in providing prevention. The bachelor's thesis focuses on speech therapy prevention in nursery school. The theoretical part begins with definitions of speech therapy and speech therapy prevention, including its scope and methods. The following part of the thesis defines the role of speech therapy prevention within pre-school education, specific features of this type of education, its planning and assessment. The practical part presents several topics for speech therapy prevention, which fall under five common thematic units mentioned in the class educational programme. These topics were put into practice in a nursery school located in a regional town and subsequently evaluated according to evaluation plan, which had been drawn up beforehand. This bachelor's thesis shows that speech therapy prevention can form a natural part of integrated thematic education in nursery school.

This bachelor's essay deals with a prevention of a speech therapy in kindergartens in the Pilsner region. A theoretical part describes a characteristic of the Pilsner region and its dialect. It defines terms of a speech therapy screening and a speech therapy edification. It mentions qualification demands of a speech therapy, teacher's competencies and conditions for a speech development's support. It defines a content of a speech therapy prevention.
